Grady School
Grady Independent School District is located in Martin County--30 miles from Big Spring, 42 miles from Andrews, and 35 miles from Midland and Lamesa . Nearly all in the G.I.S.D. community make their living farming, ranching, or in oilfield related industries. The school is the "hub" of the community and almost all aspects outside the work setting are centered around the school and its many activities.
The mission statement of G.I.S.D. is to provide all of its students with appropriate opportunities to develop and become informed, productive, and contributing citizens for American Society.
